Au fil des années, j’ai eu la chance d’accompagner des couples venus d’horizons très différents,
chacun avec son histoire, sa sensibilité et sa manière unique de célébrer.
Recevoir leurs mots après le mariage est toujours un moment particulier.
Voici quelques messages partagés par les couples qui m’ont confié la mémoire de leur journée.

Three days of celebrations in Paris — from a sunset cruise on the Seine to Château de Champlâtreux and a joyful brunch at La Felicità.
I spent 6 hours going through EVERY photo in the gallery. I ended up creating a folder for every couple, with photos of themselves, and giving them access to the website so they could download any images I hadn’t already included.
Everyone is freaking out saying how absolutely gorgeous your photography is and how incredible of a job you did ❤️.
As I was going through the gallery, I literally had a permanent smile on my face the whole time.
You are so incredibly talented. We love your work so much!!!
You see the world through such a beautiful lens.
Thank you for being part of the best week of our lives.
And thank you again for letting us experience Paris through your eyes.

Destination Wedding at Château du Fey – Burgundy, France
Sonja was an absolute dream of a photographer for our wedding.
From the first call, she was warm and personable.
We already knew we liked her style from her website and Instagram, and her welcoming personality helped us to make a decision and book her!
Even before the day of, she helped us to moodboard the kind of shots we wanted.
On our big day she was very energetic and was everywhere at once, but also not overshadowing. It’s amazing all the different shots she got - of us, our guests, the venue, and details. We are so happy with how the photos came out and so are our guests!
If you’re looking for a wedding photographer that is energetic, personable with guests, and professional with a killer eye for unique yet natural shots, we highly recommend Sonja.

Mariage au Château de Baronville – France
Nous avons découvert vos images (je suis encore entrain de les regarder une par une sur grand écran au bureau ! je verse une larme régulièrement) excités (nous ne pensions pas les recevoir si vite) ! Nous sommes ravis avec Ludovic ! elles sont magnifiques, tout y est (même des personnes que je n’ai pas vu le jour J !!!) !
Encore une fois je ne trouve pas les mots, c’est tout à fait ce que nous voulions, les photos de groupe sont extras, les photos de couple sont parfaites, comme on les voulait, pas photos de mariage kitsch, mais photos de mode, toutes les photos des détails partout, les portraits de nos invités qui sont tous plus beaux les uns que les autres (je sens que ca va faire des profil picture dans tous les sens) ! En voyant certaines photos, j’ai vraiment découvert/redécouvert des moments ou des objets en me disant « c’était quand même joli ça » ! L’émotion que tout le monde a retenu et dont tout le monde nous parle encore se ressent, j’ai découvert sur vos images les larmes de certains proches ! Vous avez vu plus de choses que nous ce jour la !
Non vraiment encore une fois 1000 mercis, on ne pouvait pas espérer mieux ! elles sont vraiment représentatives de la journée passée et des émotions ressenties, elles nous ressemblent finalement ces images, c’est tellement nous ! Merci, merci, merci, merci, merci x 1000 ! ❣

Mountain Wedding in the French Alps – Ailefroide, Hautes-Alpes
From the very first moment Adrien and I discovered Sonja’s photographs, we were deeply moved. Her sensitivity to nature and emotion immediately resonated with us. Her images go far beyond simply documenting a wedding day, they tell a story, almost like a film unfolding.
To join us for this special celebration, Sonja travelled across France overnight to reach our small mountain village in Ailefroide, in the Hautes-Alpes, nestled at 1,600 metres in the heart of the French Alps.
From the very beginning we felt completely at ease. During the preparations, she was by our side with calm guidance and thoughtful advice, helping us make the most of every moment of the day.
On the wedding day itself, Sonja was always present yet incredibly delicate and discreet. We especially appreciated how naturally she connected with our guests, capturing the atmosphere of the celebration with authenticity and warmth.
We could not be happier with our wedding photographs. They perfectly capture the spirit of our day in the mountains: the emotions, the landscape and the cinematic atmosphere we were dreaming of.
We will never forget our photo session on the rocks, surrounded by the peaks.
Beyond her talent as a photographer, Sonja is also a wonderful and inspiring person. It was a true joy to have her with us on such an important day.

Wedding at the Embassy of Sweden, Musée Rodin & Chez Petrelle – Paris
We cannot begin to tell you how happy we are with the photos and your work. Not only did you do a fantastic job finding the perfect locations, giving us tips on restaurants, connecting us with contacts and answering what must have been our 200,000 emails, but you also managed to make two very awkward, camera-shy people look… well, cool! And chic!
Our wedding took place at the Embassy of Sweden in Paris, followed by dinner at the wonderful Chez Petrelle, and you captured the whole atmosphere of the day beautifully. We also loved our photo session at the Musée Rodin, which became one of the most memorable moments of the day.
We had such a great day with you. You are great fun, incredibly professional, and we are so grateful for everything you did, even going above and beyond what we had agreed on. Many of our guests commented on how lovely and easygoing you were.
You can be absolutely sure that we will give our strongest recommendations to anyone who asks.

Sonja was the perfect addition to our wedding day. She was truly a joy to have around and a total professional. I was definitely not looking forward to seeing photos as I don’t consider myself very photogenic but holy crap can Sonja bring out your good side!
She has a unique talent for capturing emotions, and it truly translated into a beautiful day and a gorgeous photo album. We had such a hard time choosing the images for it because we loved them all.
Our wedding took place at the beautiful Château du Fey in Burgundy, and Sonja captured the atmosphere of the day perfectly.

Mariage à la Cathédrale Saint-Louis des Invalides et au Musée Rodin
Dès notre premier rendez-vous, Sonja a su nous mettre à l’aise et répondre à toutes nos questions avec beaucoup de bienveillance. Elle s’est ensuite montrée très disponible et nous a donné de bons conseils, notamment pour la robe. Elle a su nous rassurer lorsque nous avions des doutes.
Le jour J, Sonja s’est donnée sans compter. Elle était partout à la fois, discrète et présente, sans jamais laisser passer un moment important, un regard ou une émotion.
Et puis il y a l’album. Nous ne nous attendions pas à un album d’une telle qualité, à la fois artistique et dans le choix du papier. L’œil de Sonja a permis d’immortaliser notre journée en capturant exactement ce que nous ressentions. L’album est beau, équilibré, avec un enchaînement très naturel.
Bref, nous recommandons vivement Sonja.
