Over the years, I have had the privilege of documenting weddings for couples from many different countries,
each celebration unique in its atmosphere, culture and emotion.
Here are a few words shared by the couples who entrusted me with their wedding day.

Three days of celebrations in Paris — from a sunset cruise on the Seine to Château de Champlâtreux and a joyful brunch at La Felicità in Paris.
I spent 6 hours going through EVERY photo in the gallery.
I ended up creating a folder for every couple, with photos of themselves, and giving them access to the website so they could download any images I hadn’t already included.
Everyone is freaking out saying how absolutely gorgeous your photography is and how incredible of a job you did ❤️.
As I was going through the gallery, I literally had a permanent smile on my face the whole time.
You are so incredibly talented. We love your work so much!!!
You see the world through such a beautiful lens.
Thank you for being part of the best week of our lives.
And thank you again for letting us experience Paris through your eyes.

Destination Wedding at Château du Fey – Burgundy, France
Sonja was an absolute dream of a photographer for our wedding.
From the first call, she was warm and personable.
We already knew we liked her style from her website and Instagram, and her welcoming personality helped us to make a decision and book her!
Even before the day of, she helped us to moodboard the kind of shots we wanted.
On our big day she was very energetic and was everywhere at once, but also not overshadowing. It’s amazing all the different shots she got - of us, our guests, the venue, and details. We are so happy with how the photos came out and so are our guests!

Wedding at Château de Baronville – France
We opened the gallery late in the evening and I started going through the photos one by one on the big screen at the office… and I must admit I keep getting emotional.
We honestly did not expect to receive them so quickly, so the surprise was even greater.
Everything is there. Absolutely everything. Even people and moments I barely noticed on the wedding day!
The group photos are fantastic, the couple portraits are exactly what we hoped for, nothing cliché, nothing staged. They feel almost like fashion images.
And then there are all the little details… things I had completely forgotten, objects, gestures, expressions. Looking through the photos I kept thinking: “Oh wow… that was beautiful.”
You managed to capture so many moments we didn’t even see ourselves that day, including a few tears from some of our loved ones that I only discovered in the photos.
Truly, we could not have hoped for anything better. The images feel incredibly true to the day and to who we are.

Mountain Wedding in the French Alps – Ailefroide, Hautes-Alpes
From the very first moment Adrien and I discovered Sonja’s photographs, we were deeply moved. Her sensitivity to nature and emotion immediately resonated with us. Her images go far beyond simply documenting a wedding day, they tell a story, almost like a film unfolding.
To join us for this special celebration, Sonja travelled across France overnight to reach our small mountain village in Ailefroide, in the Hautes-Alpes, nestled at 1,600 metres in the heart of the French Alps.
From the very beginning we felt completely at ease. During the preparations, she was by our side with calm guidance and thoughtful advice, helping us make the most of every moment of the day.
On the wedding day itself, Sonja was always present yet incredibly delicate and discreet. We especially appreciated how naturally she connected with our guests, capturing the atmosphere of the celebration with authenticity and warmth.
We could not be happier with our wedding photographs. They perfectly capture the spirit of our day in the mountains: the emotions, the landscape and the cinematic atmosphere we were dreaming of.
We will never forget our photo session on the rocks, surrounded by the peaks.
Beyond her talent as a photographer, Sonja is also a wonderful and inspiring person. It was a true joy to have her with us on such an important day.

We are absolutely delighted with our choice to work with Sonja. From the very beginning, she showed remarkable dedication to our wedding, taking the time to exchange with us many times beforehand to ensure every detail of the celebration was thoughtfully prepared.

Wedding at the Embassy of Sweden, Musée Rodin & Chez Petrelle – Paris
We cannot begin to tell you how happy we are with the photos and your work. Not only did you do a fantastic job finding the perfect locations, giving us tips on restaurants, connecting us with contacts and answering what must have been our 200,000 emails, but you also managed to make two very awkward, camera-shy people look… well, cool! And chic!
Our wedding took place at the Embassy of Sweden in Paris, followed by dinner at the wonderful Chez Petrelle, and you captured the whole atmosphere of the day beautifully. We also loved our photo session at the Musée Rodin, which became one of the most memorable moments of the day.
We had such a great day with you. You are great fun, incredibly professional, and we are so grateful for everything you did, even going above and beyond what we had agreed on. Many of our guests commented on how lovely and easygoing you were.
You can be absolutely sure that we will give our strongest recommendations to anyone who asks.
